Frequently Asked Questions
Is this YouTube downloader free?
Yes. Downloading videos in all available qualities (360p–1080p MP4 and MP3 audio) is completely free with no account required.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so it works on Android, iPhone, tablets, Windows and Mac without installing software.
Which formats are supported?
MP4 video from 360p up to Full HD 1080p (where the source provides it), plus audio-only MP3/M4A/WebM for music and podcasts.
Why does a video fail to download?
Private, age-restricted, region-blocked, Premiere or DRM-protected (e.g. YouTube Movies) videos cannot be fetched. Very long videos may also time out — try a lower quality.
Is downloading YouTube videos legal?
It depends on the video and your country. Only download videos you own, that are Creative Commons/public domain, or where you have the creator’s permission. See our Terms of Service for details.
Where are my files saved?
On Android and PC they go to the Downloads folder. On iPhone, Safari saves them to the Files app under Downloads.
How do I get MP3 audio only?
Paste the link, press Download, then open the “Audio only” tab and choose MP3 or M4A.
Do you keep my download history?
No accounts and no watch history. We keep minimal anonymous technical logs to prevent abuse and improve the service — see the Privacy Policy.
